Award For Helping Indigent Defendants

Frank X. Neuner Jr., managing partner of the Lafayette law firm Laborde & Neuner, has been awarded the Public Defender Gideon Award by the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

The award recognizes the leadership and dedication of a non-criminal law attorney who has gone above and beyond to make significant strides in helping indigents access the criminal justice system.

Neuner was recognized for his efforts in working toward positive reform changes in Louisiana’s indigent defense system.
