Will Monday Musings Continue?

There are three more guests scheduled for the Monday Musings interview feature here at PD Stuff. Which raises the question: shall the feature fade out after Scott of Grits for Breakfast fields questions on April 16, or will more people step up to take a turn?

I’m considering sending personal invitations to bloggers, but I would really appreciate any help bloggers could give me by sending me an email with an upcoming Monday they’d like to reserve for their interview. (Non-blogging public defenders and associated professionals are also encouraged to sign up.) You really don’t have to wait for a personal invitation: I love you all. Just because I don’t write to you doesn’t mean I love you any less. Really. It’s not you, it’s me.

Meanwhile, you can check out each of the Monday Musings interviews by clicking on one of the guests’ names in the sidebar. Or you can open all of the interviews, plus news about the feature, by clicking here.

This week’s guest, of course, is the man voted Public Defender Blogger You’d Like To Be When You Grow Up by PD Stuff readers: Skelly of Arbitrary and Capricious.

Coming up Monday: Gideon of a public defender. Even now he is working on his answers to what should prove to be an enlightening and fun interview.

And the following week will bring Kevin Davis, journalist and author of Defending the Damned: Inside Chicago’s Cook County Public Defender’s Office. The book’s official publication date is the day after Kevin’s appearance here at PD Stuff. I have my advance copy and this promises to be a very exciting interview.

Then we have non-public defender Scott, an interview I’m really looking forward to because of his work examining far-ranging issues, from immigration and jail issues to the recent scandals at the Texas Youth Commission, and so many other important issues that affect our clients and the systems in which we work.

And then…?

Please help a poor blogger out and contact me soon so I can get to work on the questions for your own very special Monday Musings interview.
