New public defender blog

Here’s another public defender blog, by a recently graduated law student, entitled “PD For Life“. This is a brief description from the first post:

This is my first post to what I hope is another among many interesting and successful Public Defender blogs. My hope is to have a community of posters and commentators to keep the discussion lively.

I created this blog in a desperate attempt to distract myself from studying for the bar. I was a big fan of our law school’s blog http://www.cublawg.blogspot.com/ but discussions concerning the pros and cons of law review have gotten a little tired for me.

I recently got a job working for the public defender in a small town in Washington State. It was the job I dreamed about when I started law school and can’t wait to get started. Too bad a little thing like the bar exam can get in the way.

So unfortunately my posts for the next several months will struggle to remain public defender related because I can’t do any public defending until I pass the bar.
