I hope you were found not guilty. (on trial?)
Hehe. I guess there’s a difference of opinion as to which is appropriate: “on trial” or “in trial”. I use them interchangeably when referring to myself. I guess in a sense I, too, am on trial when my client is on trial.
Consider a doctor who is “on call”.
