The Rodneys: Best Blog by a PD that deals with the law
On the flip side, we have the pd blogs that are devoted to the discussion of the job and the law. These too, deserve recognition. Here are some of the nominees in this category:
- Arbitrary and Capricious: needs no introduction
- Capital Defense Weekly: same as above
- Malum In Se: a new entrant in this category, but almost all of his posts are about work, written in a very thoughtful and informative manner.
- ???
- ???
So many other choices that I couldn’t narrow down. A category like this needs input from readers. Which do you think is the best blog that deals with the law? If it isn’t on the list already, nominate it!

There’s a pretty good blog by a PD calling himself “apublicdefender” at http://www.apublicdefender.com I think he should get a nomination.
Lol. Are you guys just yankin’ my chain?
As I said in the comments to the previous post, I’m not sure that it would be kosher for me to do that.
If you are seriously worried about it then have someone else tabulate the votes for any of the categories in which you recevie a nomination. (Perhaps a PD intern who has helped out in the past could do this?)
Okay, so I’m not a PD intern; I’m a real, live PD. But since I am located geographically closest to Gideon, I volunteer to tabulate votes.
Once I can feel my fingers again.
CDW is closing down on 12/31 (we’re moving and reopening under a new “brand”, an easier URL to remember, alisghly modified mission and my personal favorite, a hell of a lot less tech problems (like a RSS feed that works).
I should have added in that last post, vote Skelly, vote early, and vote often.
Karl, I’ll make the change to links when you go live, but for the purposes of this contest, I’ll keep referring to you as CDW. It’s just easier that way, if you don’t mind.
