Mini-conference for law students interested in the public defender career

The Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia is hosting a one day mini-conference on July 26th at GW Law. This is a free event. Attached is a memo containing all the relevant details. This seems like a great opportunity for those in the area who are interested in becoming public defenders. This should be a chance to learn about the job and also (probably) how to get hired.
