Anyone there and Raising the Bar
Hello readers. It’s been a really long time since this blog has been updated. Events have conspired such that I’ve had little to no time to update this blog over the past month or so. I’ve been wondering whether anyone still reads or is still interested in the daily posts…so leave a comment with your thoughts.
On the other hand, some good news for public defenders (or is it?). Fellow PD David Feige’s (of Indefensible) TV show Raising The Bar debuted on TNT tonight. If any of you watched it, write up a review and I’ll link to it here!
Hopefully, this will spur me to post more. Stay tuned for more!

I miss the daily updates. This blog helps me stay somewhat in the PD loop during school and gives me something do read during my boring classes.
I read this blog everyday….I am not a contributing blogger but I truly enjoy these and have often wondered what happened. I am an investigator within the Public Defender system and truly miss the updates.
The daily updates ARE missed!
Your updates are missed and yes we still look to read updates every day.
I still check in here frequently for PD news. At least once a week I like to see what’s new in the Blawgosphere. I hope it stays open for business!
Still reading…please post when you can!
You should keep posting and updating daily on legal happenings.
What about making the site one with multiple contributors? Kind of similar to sites like the consumerist that have multiple editors that post. More updates and less work for you.
That’s not a bad idea, but I’d have to find someone to help out.
In the meantime, regular posting should start Sunday!
I think we should pitch the idea to some of the more regular bloggers. Skelly is the first person that comes to mind.
Little iffy on the show. Hopefully it will be what everyone wants it to be. Also – there is a new NYC Public Defender group – called fiveboroughdefense. Website: fiveboroughdefense.com . There is a forum. Wanted you to know about this. We also meet once a month to talk public defenderese.
