ABA’s Top Crim Blawg: Defending People

Maybe there were no Rodneys in 2008, but the ABA asked readers to vote on their favorite blawgs in 10 categories. The winner for “Crime Time” was Defending People by Houston criminal defense attorney Mark Bennett, who writes of the win: “The ABA Journal’s readers named this the top criminal law blog of 2008, which just goes to show how little they know about criminal law.” You gotta love that.

Bennett seems to write about a wide array of issues that should be of interest to defense attorneys around the country. Recent entries include new approaches to jury selection, publicizing a defense attorney who ratted out his clients, and a discussion of aspects of U.S. criminal justice that are interesting or curious to an English criminal law barrister.

Once you’ve had your fill of Defending People, check out the extensive blogroll for further reading.

Congratulations, Mark!
