We’re back and we need your help

After a two-year hiatus and the loss of pretty much everything that had been posted in the 7 years preceding¬†that, sparked by the 50th anniversary of Gideon v. Wainwright, we’re back! Chronicling the indigent defense world and its news and the blogs of those who work in the trenches, PD Stuff was and will be a repository of news stories and updates on the fight to fund indigent defense and the struggles of lawyers nationwide.

If you want to help out, send an e-mail, otherwise send links to PD related stories.

One of the most striking changes over the last 5 years or so has been the death of PD blogs. What was once a vibrant community has now dwindled. As we work to recreate the blogroll, please leave a comment if you have or know of a current public defender blog.

You can also follow us on twitter @pdstuff.

There isn’t much to see here right now as I work to get the site off the ground, but while you wait, learn why the banner is a picture of Rodney Dangerfield. He symbolizes PDs because, well, we don’t get no respect at all.
